Anticimex Group announces another acquisition in the US market

Pressrelease 12/13/2016

Anticimex Group, the world’s fourth-largest pest control company, today announces its continued expansion in to the US with the acquisition of GreenStar Termite & Pest Control, a family-owned pest control firm located in the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington DC. The acquisition was made by Anticimex’s subsidiary American Pest.

GreenStar was founded in 2007 and has a solid reputation among its residential customer for offering high quality pest control and termite services.

The transaction follows on Anticimex acquisition of Bug Doctor and American Pest earlier this year and forms part of its strategy to expand across the US market via organic growth and further acquisitions.

Commenting on today’s announcement, Matt Nixon, CEO of American Pest, said:

“With the acquisition of GreenStar Termite and Pest we will significantly strengthen our market position and increase our presence in Northern Virginia. We are excited to be teaming up with the team at GreenStar and welcome them to the American Pest family”.
