Anticimex Belgium continues to grow and acquires parts of ALM Hygiene pest control activities

Pressrelease 01/30/2017

Anticimex Group, the world’s fourth-largest pest control company, today announces its continued expansion in Belgium with the acquisitions of the pest control business of ALM Hygiene.

The transactions will strengthen Anticimex’s market presence in the Northern part of Belgium and expand the customer base within food and restaurants sector, distribution and the public sector.

The transaction follows on Anticimex acquisition of C’est Pas Bête SA earlier this year and forms part of its strategy to expand its footprint across all regions of the Belgium market via organic growth and further acquisitions.

Christophe Gyselinck, Country President Anticimex Belgium, commented:
“The opportunity to acquire ALM will strengthen our footprint and position in the northern part of Belgium and it enables us to strengthen our service level even more”.

Filip Penné, owner of ALM, commented:
“I’m glad that I can leave ALM Pest Control in capable hands. Anticimex is in many ways very similar to ALM, a fast growing company with a high market penetration. We both service our customers with the greatest diligence and care, for an excellent price-quality ratio. In addition, Anticimex can offer added value to our clients with their extensive technical support and innovative focus”.
