Anticimex Group, the world’s fourth-largest pest control company, today announces its continued expansion in the Netherlands with the acquisition of Mirado Ongediertebestrijding, a family owned company based in the southwest region of the Netherlands.

Established 1986, Mirado has built a solid reputation among its commercial and housing customers by offering all types of pest control services, dry-rot and wood protection service. The transaction will further strengthen Anticimex geographical footprint in the Netherlands.

The transaction follows on Anticimex acquisition of Lamon, Kees Kooijman and Lagerwey and forms part of its strategy to expand its market coverage across all regions of the Dutch market through organic growth and further acquisitions.

Commenting on today’s announcement, Dick Bisschop, Country President Anticimex Netherlands, said:

“With the acquisition of Mirado Ongediertebestrijding, we will further strengthen our position in the Dutch pest control market. Activities of Mirado Ongediertebestrijding will be merged with Kees Kooijman and therefore will serve our customers in the South West part with even stronger expertise”.
