Investing in Our Talent

The success of Anticimex in delivering advanced pest control solutions hinges on the skills and motivation of our 12,000 employees worldwide. Attracting and retaining top talent is a key priority. We're committed to maintaining a safe and engaging workplace that offers diverse career opportunities. This commitment to diversity and inclusion not only benefits our employees but also strengthens our ability to serve a global and varied customer base, from private homes to large corporations and public facilities like airports and hospitals.

Embracing Digitalization and Continuous Learning

The ongoing digitalization of the pest control industry requires our employees to continuously adapt and enhance their skills, particularly in mastering digitally-enabled solutions, which has been Anticimex's key driver for more than 10 years. To support this, Anticimex provides the online SMART training portal. This invaluable resource offers comprehensive training and tutorials for sales, technical staff, and operational employees, with global coaches available to support local SMART teams.

Fostering a Positive Work Environment

We actively track employee satisfaction through regular, global employee surveys, conducted at least annually. Our performance is measured using metrics such as the Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS), which indicates how likely employees are to recommend Anticimex as a place to work. Thanks to our decentralized model, the insights gained from these surveys are directly used to implement improvement actions at all levels of the Group, identify best practices, and promptly address any negative deviations.

Anticimex is dedicated to continuously improving its working environment based on employee feedback. We measure key indicators to track improvement, performance, and skills development. Furthermore, we prioritize preventive training for on-field employees in safe working practices. This includes mandatory training for drivers and those working in potentially dangerous or hazardous environments, such as heat treatment, fumigation, or tasks requiring ladder work.

A Welcoming Home for Industry Experts

A satisfactory working environment and promising career opportunities are also crucial in making Anticimex an attractive option for owners of independent pest control companies considering divesting their businesses. Many sellers have successfully joined the Group in various leadership roles, including management positions, branch manager roles, and specialist positions.

[1] Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) is a measure of how likely employees are to recommend their employer as a place to work. It comes from the NPS measure more typically associated with customer satisfaction surveys and asks employees how likely they are to ‘promote’ their employer on a scale from 0 to 10. The eNPS score is calculated by taking the percentage of detractors and subtracting it from the percentage of promoters to yield an eNPS score from -100 to 100.
